Long Way Down 2007

Remember the post I'd previously written about the journey around the world called Long Way Round ? Click here if you don't dig me. It was a biking adventure between two British mates (Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman) in 2004, which started from London, crossing the world's largest continent in the northern hemisphere, passing through Europe, Mongolia, Russia, and North America to reach New York in a journey that spanned 20,000 miles and 107 days. Having read the book and watched the DVD series recently, I must say I totally envy them and am so gonna do something similar one day. But, guess what?... [UPDATED!]

The buggers are gonna do it again! This time it's from John O'Groats, Scotland (Ewan's a Scottish btw) to Capetown, South Africa, in a journey aptly named Long Way Down. Planning for the trip has begun and they're slated to start their journey come September this year! Lucky bastards! I do hope they're gonna use the all new BMW R1200GS Adventure ! Visit their website here!

And here's the trailer of Long Way Round 2004. The whole 7-episodes (2.34Gb) of the TV series can be downloaded via torrenting. Happy watching!

[Update 1]
Did you know?... the Long Way Round documentary series on DVD scored 9.4/10 on IMDb!

[Update 2]
Ewan is planning a third long-distance bike trip with Charley, before they have even started the Long Way Down, where they will start at the Southern Tip of South America, and ride to the Most Northern point of America. This will be called Long Way Up (how predictable)!

[Update 3]
Managed to find the "sneak preview" of Long Way DOWN. So here goes:
