Fell sick last week, on the second day in Batu Pahat - headache, fever, grossly enlarged and tender cervical lymph nodes, nothing serious but headache was decapacitating. That came after starting my running schedule, after some 2 months of hiatus. Thought all was well till today, when I started training in gym. Again, same sh*t different day. Headache, fever, humongous lymph nodes. No thanks to tonight's IMU BBQ nite! Had to cut short my on-call justnow. Sigh... must be some nasty viruses!
On the other hand, the past weekend was very very very very very unproductive! Spent the whole Saturday and Sunday watching a Hong Kong drama series. All 35 episodes in two days!

15 spit-backs:
Take care dude and please... don't turn into a couch potato housewife. LOL!
Second day in Batu Pahat already sick "choi tor san chee yok" heard it before? You rent that series or what? I wanted to wwatch this series too.....haha. Hebat la you 2 days 35 series...lol
Those red pills look yummy! but r they antibiotics? I remembered erythromycin! yucks
[jonzz]:
ok, will do. but can't promise on the couch potato housewife part though! :)
[steve]:
"Choi Tor San Chee Yok"??? sounds like some wildboar meat! yummy! dude, i don't read chinese so unless someone read me the chinese title, i usually go by the enggerish title. heheh.
[lm]:
you're right LM, those pinky red pills are indeed erythromycin (antibiotics). but i didn't take them as i think my symptoms are more viral than bacterial. hmmm alien LM must have been falling sick very frequently... i can't recognise antibiotics by pills. heheh.
It got nothing to do with wildbooar meat, it means that you have a lot of money thats why u always fall sick, thats what i do also, cos i can't read Chinese, all of us are banana what to do,...haha. Its very addictive indeed. You having viral? So antibiotics will not works for you but u it only take u approximately a wek to recover from viral right....
KK: Take care. And btw, I've got lots of unwatched TVB drama serial in my hard drive too.
Oh...good that u r getting to know LM. You shall hv the honour of inviting him for dinner meet up in Dec in spore.
[steve]:
yes, minus the physical, emotional, & spiritual stresses, 1 week is more than enough to recover! but not to worry, my immune system sibeh hiong (means very strong, in case u mix up hokkien with cantonese or vice versa). LOL!
[pb]:
u do? thought s'pore bans file-torrenting! hopefully they're not mandarin-ised!
i doubt there's time for post-run party, let alone dinner, as i've to catch a bus back to batu pahat. i'll be in the midst of a hectic posting in dec! sigh! the alien is safe... for now... haha.
Huh? But Dr Ray has arranged dinner. LOL. U supposed to invite alien.
Nope. They r Cantonese.

Emotional, spiritual and physical stress...haha. LoL. U are the one taht started mixing hokkien and cantonese together first so i just play along...immune system sibeh hiong....haha. Lack of excercise la thats why you fall sick...:)
[pb]:

[lm]:
Ah Lien aaa, mei hai dou ji lei ji hui laa... chang sek fan! Yu jor nei yat fen! LOL!
[steve]:
emo+spiritual+physical, i left out environmental. dat way i'm totally holistic! mou jao kai geh.
paradoxically, i fall sick when i started back on my exercise routine.
