True Fitness @ Jaya33

I must say this is the best gym I've been to so far... super spacious with advanced machines and nice + ample free weights, with minimal grunting homosapiens (and nil homosexuals, too!). Plus an open air swimming pool on the top floor of the building!

The lockers

This is the only corporate gym that does not do corporate rate, hence the low number of members. The last time I checked, basic membership fee was RM175++ per month, easily the most expensive gym out there. Even yesterday (Maal Hijrah holiday), the gym was quite deserted in the morning.

Adequately sized locker

Changing area

Urinals, commodes, and basins

Doorless shower area, beware Mr. Anus!

Steam room and sauna

Cardio machines

More cardio machines

Free weights

More free weights

Resistant machines

More resistant machines and more cardio machines

The open-air swimming pool

Subway Club sandwitch (turkey ham + chicken ham + roasted beef + 6" long honey oat bun + all available veggie topping + extra extra extra BBQ sauce + mustard sauce = RM11.50)

Subway is just 10 steps away from the main entrance of True Fitness. What a great post-workout meal! If you're rich and don't mind the PJ traffic and spending RM200 per month is like nothing to you, TF @ Jaya33 is the gym you want to be in!

Buurrrpps!

I was so impressed until I saw the shower stalls. Why must they still use cheapo shower curtains!! eventually full of mold and dunno what bacteria. Eeks.

exactly! it's the same situation at california fitness. and hanging of clothes and towels outside the shower cubicles! wth?!!

wat do they use to protect members' rear orifices while in shower in singapore, LM?

I dont mind if the shower curtains are changed daily, but for some, you can see the black mold leh.. and it smells awful inside too!

However, there is a branch of my gym where the stalls are very clean. The white tiles are still gleaming!!

So, its either they do proper doors (and clean them well), or none at all. I just hate brushing against moldy shower curtains. eeks eeks.

You want rear end protection? either face the front so the rear is not exposed, or wear a plug or fender lor. LOL
